Precious is life

This is a turn-based strategy card game in which you take on the role of an ancient vampire who has had his Precious stolen... something he values more than his own un-life. And he intends to get his own back.

The game features a small campaign with several battles, where each subsequent battle is more difficult and the opponents are stronger. You can choose those monsters that will fight on your side, carry them through the entire campaign and upgrade them.

Monster cards vary in hit points and type, which affects their effectiveness in fighting against each other in a rock-paper-scissors style. By controlling them, you can give them various commands, for example, not only to attack a specific enemy, but also to defend themselves. Your character is able not only to observe the progress of the battle from the side, but also to directly intervene in its, attacking opponents and healing his monsters.

An important idea and a separate mechanic of the game is that “you have to pay for everything.” In this case - literally. Almost any action, be it summoning new monsters, improving old ones, or using the character’s abilities, requires him to waste his own life energy, and if it runs out, then you lose. Therefore, act wisely and do not do anything in vain.

A small tutorial:

At the start of each battle you have a choice of either summoning a new creature or upgrading the existing one. The creatures you control have various types: melee, flying and ranged. Melee is effective against ranged, ranged is effective against flying and flying is effective against melee. Active creature is highlighted by the yellow background. The actions it can use are on the bottom of the screen. Select actions by clicking on them with left mouse button.

While your creature is active, you can cast a spell, the panel is beneath the character portrait on the right. Click on the icon to the left of the spell panel to change the spells from damaging to healing and back. To cancel the selection of a card action or a spell press the right mouse button.
